BEHIND THE RENDERS

A curiosity for
how things are made.

I’m Layton Weber, a 21-year-old self-taught 3D artist from the United Kingdom, creating under the name orbitalVFX.

I started learning Blender during the 2020 lockdown as a passion project. Since then, I’ve spent over 4,000 hours in the software, learning and experimenting along the way.

My work explores spacecraft, smoke simulations, interiors and everyday details. This portfolio brings together my finished renders and the experiments behind them.
